This is a development level gala. Swimmers with a 2018 Kent Auto QT are excluded from entering that specific event in this competition. There are no minimum entry times but if the gala becomes over-subscribed the slowest swimmers will be rejected from each age group so that session times can be adhered to.
Kent Championships 2018 - Entry Deadline
A reminder that entry forms are due in by Thursday 4 January. Simon will be available on Thursday evening. He is travelling to the US on Sunday, so I’ll be submitting the entries.
If you have chosen to swim at Icebreaker to improve your ranking or gain last chance qualifying times please still have your entries in by Thursday. Please indicate on your entry form which events you are targeting. Although I will be poolside at Canterbury, please message me or send an email to email@example.com by Monday 8 January if you have gained a new or improved time, so I can ensure that your entry is amended.
I am unable to make any manual changes to the entry file. All times are brought through from Rankings – SC times will be converted to LC. Hopefully, they will be updated quickly and then I can submit our entries on Tuesday or Wednesday.

There is a poolside plan for visiting clubs, so please use the space that has been allocated to us. I have updated Scott Walker on the availability of our official volunteers.

BWFSC New Year Meet 2018 - Rejected Entry
Although we were very quick on our turnaround for entries this meet, I’m afraid it appears we weren’t quick enough. After processing the entries the organiser had received through through to midnight on 31 October they were full – closing nearly 6 weeks early. Historically, they reach this stage mid-November. As this is a meet that will be included in our events schedule for 2018-2019 our entries will be done next year within a shorter time frame to avoid disappointment. Please see Julia at the Club Desk regarding these entries.
For those of you who had chosen to compete at LAC instead of Basildon to improve on your rankings or gain last chance qualifying times for the Kent Championships, Icebreaker will be taking place on 6 & 7 January at Kingsmead Leisure Centre in Canterbury. Information pack and entry forms have now been emailed out to all relevant swimmers.
