Swimming lessons in Ashford, Kent

Ashford Town Swimming club is able to offer lessons for swimmers who have successfully completed at least Stage 5 of the Swim England National Plan for Teaching Swimming.

Swimmers who are currently in Stages 5-8 are welcome to apply for a place in our Learn to Race section – more details here – which are designed to further develop their swimming skills prior to joining our successful Squad structure.

Our minimum entry requirement in this section is the ability to swim 25m in at least two strokes.

Learn to Swim – Stages 1 to 4

Unfortunately, for swimmers currently in Stages 1-5 ATSC are not able to offer swimming lessons. Enquiries should be directed to one of these organisations:

All of our teachers and helpers are unpaid. We do, however, aim to have regular teachers. It is always the case that we are looking for new helpers so if you are regularly watching and feel that you have something to offer please let us know.

If you are a qualified swim teacher or have some competitive swimming experience, that would be ideal. However, there are various jobs where swimming knowledge is not required. If you are keen we will find you a job!
